With summer just around the corner, the Tourist Board’s promotional campaign has turned its focus to Spanish and United States markets with two major promotional, commercial and communication events that included massive professional and media deployment as well as a high rate of business involvement. Promotional events to showcase specific products –from Food and Wine and the DO Empordà Wine Route to Health and Beauty and Culture and Identity to Premium Serves and Business Tourism– made a splash with travel agents, event organisers and the media in Madrid and New York. The Tourist Board also helped support a number of public and private initiatives that contribute to energising and strengthening the Costa Brava and Pirineu de Girona brands.
