A total of 35 mothers and their families had the opportunity to discover and enjoy all the family tourism activities available in the coastal town. A general presentation of the destination was also given during the event, showcasing the Costa Brava’s eight family tourism beach destinations: Blanes, Calonge – Sant Antoni, Castell – Platja d’Aro, Lloret de Mar, Roses, Sant Feliu de Guíxols, Torroella de Montgrí – l’Estartit, and the recently certified Sant Pere Pescador. Furthermore, the UK’s biggest conference for blogging mothers, Britmums, was celebrated on 24 and 25 June in London for 500 participating mothers. Blanes and the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board, representing Girona’s eight family tourism destinations, participated in the event with a booth that offered participants creative Mediterranean tapas in celebration of the region’s Year Gastronomy. A presentation designed specifically for 22 bloggers was also given as part of the event.
