Spring has arrived with a flourish on the Costa Brava and in the Girona Pyrenees with the pandemic under control, healthy tourist occupation figures over Easter and the end of a long and satisfactory winter season at Girona’s ski resorts, with almost 900,000 users. At the same time, essential infrastructure such as Girona- Costa Brava Airport has resumed activity, with thirty international air connections, and the number of cruise stopovers in the ports of Palamós and Roses is set to increase this year. In keeping with this situation, the Tourist Board has also upped its activity with attendance at tourism fairs, participation in workshops, organising actions for opinion leaders, more training for professionals and the sixteenth edition of the Girona Counties G! Tourism Communication Awards.
