November 2016

The Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees’ Year of Gastronomy culminated with a successful 2017 Michelin Guide for Spain and Portugal gala. The province’s first cultural experiences festival, Som Cultura, was also an outstanding success, and the Girona Pyrenees’ ski resorts kicked off a promising ski season on the last weekend of November. The Tourist Board also promoted the destination’s range of tourism and other products with a steady pace of participation in international tourism trade fairs like the World Travel Market, golf events like the International Golf Travel Market and cruise-industry trade fairs like the International Cruise Summit.
