Presentations and workshops

Professionals from Israel and Poland’s travel management sector interested in the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees destinations.

The Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board and a number of Girona tourism companies attended the first edition of GastroPirineus, held in La Seu d’Urgell from 13 to 15 November. This event –which included a conference, exhibition, product tasting and live cooking sessions– was created for professionals and aimed to showcase Catalan Pyrenees cuisine.

The Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board and Catalan Tourist Board also joined forces on 16 November to promote the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees at a presentation for 20 journalists and 8 tour operators in Tel Aviv, Israel. The event ended with a meal based on Girona products, which was prepared by Marc Descloux, chef at Dràulic restaurant in Roses.

The Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board closed out the month with a workshop and presentation for 180 TUI Poland travel agents on 24 November.
