2014 starts on an upbeat note for the tourism sector in view of the growth seen in the number of foreign tourists visiting Catalonia and the Girona area in 2013. The Tourism Board's activities this year will begin with visits to international trade fairs, an intensive advertising campaign to promote the Pirineu de Girona ski resorts, and planning the spring promotional campaign. In respect of our on-line activities (Tourism 2.0), the figures for the Costa Brava and Pirineu de Girona portal are released, and the Turisme 360º professional training programme is starting up again.
