Pirineu de Girona advertising campaign

TV, radio and press campaign to promote the Pirineu de Girona brand

The Costa Brava Girona Tourism Board, together with institutions and companies in the Pirineu de Girona area, is running a publicity campaign on television and radio and in the written media (traditional and digital) to promote and extend awareness of the destination’s tourist attractions and its five ski resorts, aimed at visitors and skiers in Catalonia, the rest of Spain, and abroad.

A television advert publicising the Mediterranean Pyrenees was broadcast on the Catalan TV3 channel from 16 to 31 January. Meanwhile, the 105TV channel is featuring a promotional spot linked to the Tour Fricandó Matiner radio shows being broadcast live from the La Molina, Vall de Núria and Vallter ski stations. Advertisements in connection with the Fricandó campaign will appear in the La Vanguardia and El Mundo Deportivo newspapers, as well as on the website of the RAC105 radio station.

On radio, the Ser and RAC105 stations will be broadcasting slots and mentions throughout January, February and March, while adverts will appear in newspapers and magazines such as El Punt, Diari de Girona, ARA, Pànxing Pirineu, Cap Catalogne and That’s Life.

The Costa Brava Girona Tourism Board regularly publishes content on-line and through social networks (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) about the ski resorts and municipal events and activities, with photographs and links to profiles and websites that drive internet traffic.

Promotional activities taking place in February include the #InPyrenees de neu blogtrip by top international bloggers, the Family Adventure Project; a press trip for journalists from Spanish snow and adventure sports magazines such as Aire Libre, Oxigeno, and Desnivel; and a press trip to introduce Russian journalists to Girona’s ski stations.
