The Patronat de Turisme has rounded off the year in celebratory fashion with the holding of the G! Tourism Awards of the Counties of Girona and has been rolling out the promotional and communication campaign of the Pirineu de Girona for the 2012-2013 season. Internally, the Patronat has integrated the Girona Convention Bureau within its structure as a new product marketing club and is already working on the first initiatives of the 2013 action plan and objectives.
As regards Tourism 2.0, the Patronat is sponsoring the Wikiartmap platform and has presented "Instagram your City", a project that enables the tourism towns in the area to publicise their attractions through the use of the Instagram application and social networks.
