At this most complex and uncertain time for destinations and tourist companies as a result of the COVID-19 health crisis, the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board continues to work on the strategy of repositioning the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees destinations through a variety of promotional marketing and publicity media. The entity also takes stock of the shortest, most atypical and disparate summer season in the province of Girona’s history and presents the tourist occupation figures for the summer of 2020.
In July and August, the province of Girona welcomed 1.7 million tourists, who made 6.3 million overnight stays.
