In March the Tourist Board presented the programme for the sixth edition of the Vívid wine festival, the TastEmotion showcasing activity was held in Antwerp and Amsterdam for 115 Benelux travel agents and journalists, and the Costa Brava’s food and wine tourism range was publicised in the Basque Country among members of the press and travel agents through the innovative action “Coast to Coast”. Following the Plan of Action, we also took part in various tourism trade fairs, in three ACAVe workshops and in two specific MICE workshops in Paris and Madrid to market business tourism in the destination. The entity also provided support for sports events which are interesting for tourists and held in the province of Girona. Lastly, the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board received two Alimara Awards from the CETT for its marketing actions.
