Tourism trade fairs

Participation in three domestic tourism trade fairs and five international shows in Central Europe and the Eastern countries.

On the domestic level, on 8^th - 9^th March the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board took part in Barcelona in Expo Sports Outdoor, focussed on active and sports tourism, and on 22^nd - 24^th March, again in Barcelona, it took part in B-Travel, the most important tourism show in Catalonia. At the end of the month, on 29^th - 31^st March, the entity also participated in Sevatur, held in San Sebastián. On the international level, the Tourist Board attended several trade fairs: 1^st - 3^rd March, the Fiets en Wandelbeurs show in Utrecht, Netherlands; 6^th - 10^th, ITB Berlin; 12^th - 14th, the MITT in Moscow; 22^nd - 24th, the Salon du Randonneur in Lyon, and 27^th - 29th, the UITT in Kiev, Ukraine. These trade fairs, some of which were generic and others sectorial, served as a springboard for showcasing different aspects of the range of generic tourism options available in the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees, in addition to the destination’s active and sports tourism options.
