Awards and recognitions
The CETT gives two Alimara Awards to the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board.
APRIL 2019
On 21st March, the Hotel Alimara in Barcelona was the setting for the Alimara Awards ceremony. These awards are organised by the CETT, the international campus for training and transfer of knowledge in tourism, hotel and catering attached to the University of Barcelona. The Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board was distinguished by awards in two of the eight categories: the Alimara Award for Innovation in Marketing, for the action “TastEmotion Costa Brava Girona World Tour - The ultimate dining experience”, and the Alimara CETT Students’ Award. Furthermore, the Alimara Award for Responsible and Sustainable Tourism went to the project Scientific and sustainable routes throughout the province of Girona, launched by the Catalan Foundation for Research and Innovation (FCRi), an institution with which the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board collaborated to create the first series of routes.
