Coinciding with the final days of the Salvador Dalí exhibition at the Pompidou Centre in Paris, the "Catalonia – Costa Brava and Pirineu de Girona" event was held, the largest-scale promotional and marketing initiative aimed at the French market in terms of the participation of tourism sector professionals. Meanwhile, the first roadshow in Russia was held, organised in conjunction with the tour operator TUI. The Patronat took part in six tourism fairs, while the Girona Convention Bureau participated in the MICE Place Méditerranée meeting point in Marseilles. Moreover, press trips were organised for 20 journalists. As regards Tourism 2.0, new specific and practical training workshops were announced for tourism sector professionals, the InstaOlot event took place and interesting Facebook competitions were held.
