The Patronat de Turisme has rounded off the year in celebratory fashion with the holding the G! Tourism Awards of the Counties of Girona and the presentation of the Active & Nature Tourism Club, a new association for tourism development and promotion. Meanwhile, internally it has been focusing on the 2012 Objectives and Action Plan.
The ski season has got under way in the Pirineu de Girona with the arrival of the first snowfalls. The area's five ski resorts will be offering users several improvements and new features.
The Patronat de Turisme sends season's greetings to the Girona tourism sector, tour operators, media outlets, collaborators and suppliers in the form of a 2.0 Christmas card.
2011 G! AWARDS
This year's winners were the hotelier Climent Guitart, the Costa Brava International Fireworks Contest – Town of Blanes Trophy, a feature published in REIZ& magazine (a Dutch publication) and an episode of the Dreams Road 2010 series, broadcast on Rai Uno, the Italian channel.
