In September, the statistical data for the high season were published and the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board resumed its promotional activity with a series of events that included the organisation of the second Costa Brava Challenge Week, participation at different specialised workshops, attendance at professional congresses and conferences and publicising the destination’s cultural and wine tourism offering in different places. A new e-book about the wellness activities and experiences offered by the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees was also published. Promotion of the region also continued through the organisation of around twenty fam trips for international influencers and travel agents.
Girona province welcomed 2.3 million tourists who made 10.4 million overnight stays in July and August.
