The Costa Brava’s peak tourist season comes to a close this year with a positive balance sheet that reflects record tourist occupation. To close out the summer the Tourist Board launches a new promotional video for food and wine tourism; participates in the publication of the first specific Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees guide by French publisher Petit Futé; rekindles its participation in international tourism trade fairs; organises promotional activities designed for influencers who are likely to create a brand and share the region’s tourism products; provides support to destinations’ promotional projects, and rewards several works in the first Costa Brava Inclusive Mobile Film first competition. At the corporate level, as part of the celebration of World Tourism Day, the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board receives the award for Innovation from the Catalan Tourist Board in recognition of its work promoting the TBEX Costa Brava -Catalonia conference.
