Autumn saw the start of promotional activities for the Girona province and Girona Pyrenees ski resorts for the winter 2014-2015 season. Looking ahead to the 2015 season, the Board worked directly with tour operators and brokers at events such as Buy Catalunya and the M&I Forum, organised familiarisation trips and attended five tourism trade fairs covering a range of specialist sectors. The Board continues to innovate with the creation of new promotional materials, a new video recorded using drones to promote the region's golf courses, and a new on-line training platform aimed at the tourism sector. The month closed with the announcement that Lloret de Mar has been chosen to host the annual world congress for travel bloggers, TBEX EU 2015, from 30 April to 2 May.
