The Costa Brava Convention Bureau holds 52 meetings with companies specialising in the organisation of meetings and incentive trips

In mid-October Sitges was the host of the M&I Forum, an annual event held in a different city each year. This year's Forum was attended by 750 sales executives and buyers from European and American companies specialising in organising meetings, incentive trips and events. The Costa Brava Convention Bureau held meetings with 52 company representatives during the four-day event. The buyers, mainly from the pharmaceuticals, motor vehicle, technology and insurance sectors, were keen to learn about the outstanding conference facilities to be found in Girona province for events with numbers ranging from 20 to 250 attendees. They were interested in locations outside Barcelona and other capital cities, and in the options for supplementing professional meetings with cultural, gastronomic or active tourism activities in the region. Four other entities and companies from Girona province attended the M&I Forum: Lloret Convention Bureau, Evenia Hotels, the Girona Conference Centre and Meliá Golf Vichy Catalán.
