In mid-May the de-escalation plan came into force and the Girona health region moved on to phase 1. The tourism sector is already in possession of the legal frameworks and official protocols regulating sub-sector activity: companies, products and services are gradually assimilating this information and adapting to visitors and customers. Meanwhile, the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board has been working on its new advertising campaign, to be launched in June in Catalonia and Spain, as well as offering support to those subsectors that are resuming their activity, such as golf on the Costa Brava. The board has also organized promotional initiatives in digital environments, enhanced and extended professional training programs and released several publications.
Technical specifications are made available in the form of guides for tourist establishments and public facilities.
