The Tourist Board focuses its energies on tourism promotion in May through a number of events: the IAGTO Costa Brava Trophy, the most important event on the destination’s Year of Golf and Gastronomy, and participation in an extensive range of workshops and presentations in cities in France, UK, Germany and Italy, the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees’ top four markets for tourism, as well as a number of reverse workshops and 20 fam, press and blog trips to the province of Girona for influencers. The board also presents the balance sheets from the ski season at Girona Pyrenees’ ski resorts and the third Vívid, the region’s annual wine festival.
