In June, as tourism started up again, the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board launched its domestic market publicity campaign “Can’t wait to see you again” and joined the Catalan Tourist Board’s campaign, “Make yourself at home in Catalonia.” It also presented the Sarfa coach company’s promotional campaign and participated in the first online tourism trade show, OnViaje. To cater for tourists, the Costa Brava’s beaches have been opened to visitors, musical festivals have been programmed, new gourmet food and wine events have been organised and sports activity has resumed throughout the province of Girona.
An unprecedented campaign has been launched online and offline to revive tourism in the province of Girona, aimed at the Catalan and Spanish domestic market.
The campaign starts with access protocols and safety precautions for Girona’s beaches and coves.
