December 2018
2018 has been a year of outstanding achievements for the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees, with the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board organising 129 promotional events and presentations, 65 fam trips and 56 press trips, in addition to taking part in 51 national and international tourism trade fairs and 41 workshops, along with many other activities. In December, the Tourist Board presented its Plan of Actions and Objectives to the Girona tourist sector for 2019, organised a showcasing event in Switzerland and participated in two international tourism trade shows. It also promoted the Costa Brava among travel agents from Tez Tour in Georgia and other initiatives included the presentation of the study Girona Terra Memorial (Girona, Land of Memorials), the winner of the Yvette Barbaza Award, and the traditional Christmas greeting.

The plan presented has been drawn up in consensus with the Girona tourism sector as a whole and is designed to offer high-quality products to tourists seeking excellence.
