The figures for the 2022 tourist season in the province of Girona have been published and rated ‘satisfactory’ by the sector. The Tourist Board has kicked off the 2023 trade fair season by participating in five international fairs in January, and is promoting Girona’s ski resorts with a radio campaign. It is also organising the first press and familiarisation trips to the region, while the quality of Girona’s campsites has been recognised with international awards.
The province of Girona received 8.4 million tourists, who generated 26.4 million overnight stays in 2022, improving on the figures for the 2019 season.
