In addition, Càmping La Ballena Alegre was also nominated in the ‘Most pleasant family campsite by the sea’ category, while Càmping Yelloh! Village Sant Pol was nominated in the ‘Most unique accommodation’ category.

Later, at the CMT Stuttgart fair in Germany, six of Girona’s campsites were also awarded the Superplätze 2023, presented by Germany’s Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil-Club (ADAC), Europe’s largest automobile association. The winning establishments in the ADAC awards are: Les Medes in L’Estartit; El Delfin Verde Costa Brava Resort in Torroella de Montgrí; and L’Àmfora, La Ballena Alegre, Las Dunas and Aquarius in Sant Pere Pescador. ADAC is the association with the most members in Germany, with more than 20 million associated families.
