This month sees the launch of the new Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees official website, a preview of the 2023 season publicity campaign for local and international markets and intensified promotional activity abroad with actions in Ireland and the USA. At the same time, the results of the winter season in the Girona Pyrenees are in and Girona Airport and the ports of Palamós and Roses present flight and cruise schedules. In addition, the Tourist Board is promoting a new festival, Som Benestar, and continuing its regular promotional actions, such as workshops and events for opinion leaders, while providing support for various initiatives run by local agents involved in the tourism sector.

Results from the 2022-2023 winter season

The Girona Pyrenees’ mountain and ski resorts end the winter season with a total of 848,039 users, 4.6% less than in the 2021-2022 season. The season can be rated as ‘contrasting and atypical’, although activity during January and February was good.
