In May, the balance of the snow season in the Girona Pyrenees ski resorts was presented, commercial promotions were organised and the destination was disseminated in French and Nordic country markets, with the support of Girona gastronomy. We also attended tourism trade fairs at a Spanish and international level, among other activities. At the same time, the fourth edition of Vívid closed with 1,635 attendees, and the DO Empordà Wine Route achieved seventh position in the annual ranking of the Spanish Association of Wine Cities. New audiovisual material to promote culture and identity was also published, as well as the blog Som Actiu-Natura and the website for the Board's Unique Premium Club offer of high range and unique experiences.
The Girona ski resorts close the 2016-2017 season with the most satisfactory balance in recent years: 869,425 skiers.
