The Girona ski resorts close the 2016-2017 season with the most satisfactory balance in recent years: 869,425 skiers.

The abundant, regular snowfall in the Girona Pyrenees throughout the season and the price policy of the ski resorts led to an increase of 18% in the number of users on the slopes compared to that of the 2015-2016 season. This year, there were 869,425 skiers. La Molina recorded 330,491 skiers, Vall de Núria 40,856, Vallter 2000 59,308, Masella 430,000, and Guils Fontanera 8,770.
