Coinciding with the beginning of tourism recovery, the Tourist Board has intensified tourism promotion by participating at FITUR in Madrid and organising several commercial and communication activities to boost luxury and sports tourism in the destination area. Likewise, a new unique tourism experiences portal aimed at nearby markets has been launched, while the visit programme for opinion leaders to the area continues. Finally, the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board has held the fifteenth edition of the Girona Counties G! Tourism Communication Awards.
