Summer begins with high expectations for visitor numbers and occupation levels in the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees. The ‘Live twice’ publicity campaign relaunches in local and neighbouring tourist markets, promotion in the Belgian market is ramped up and the number of promotional actions addressed to opinion leaders and end consumers is increased, including promoting the Costa Brava Girona Festivals and Ennatura’t platforms, as well as InstaGreens meetings in the region. Finally, the return of gastronomic, sporting and cultural events has helped to raise the destination’s profile abroad.


Summer season forecasts

The Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees’ tourist accommodation expects to achieve occupation levels of over 80% in July, and over 95% in August.
