Promotion in Belgium

The Costa Brava and Dalí are promoted among 70 Belgian tourism opinion leaders alongside the immersive exhibition ‘Inside Dalí’ in Ghent.


On Tuesday 7 June, the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board and the Gala-Salvador Dalí Foundation organised a dual promotional action in the Belgian city of Ghent, taking advantage of the immersive exhibition ‘Inside Dalí’ being held at the Lichtkerk space until 30 June. 

The action aimed to present the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees’ wide and varied range of tourist options, associated with the ‘Live twice’ communication campaign, and Dalí’s cultural legacy, linked to the region and the tourist experiences offered by the Dalinian Triangle, to some seventy travel journalists, agents and opinion leaders. 

Attending this promotional action were tour operators such as Adagio, VOS Travel, TUI Travel Shops, and Belgian media such as De Zondag, Het Nieuwsblad and Flair, as well as various tourist companies and organisations from Girona, including the Gala-Salvador Dalí Foundation, Hotel Camiral-PGA Golf & Wellness, Casa Anamaria Hotel & Villas, Park Hotel San Jorge, Sallés Hotels, Lloret Turisme and Turisme de Figueres, who generated business opportunities at the event. 

This action, promoted by the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board and scheduled in the 2022 Action Plan, was carried out as part of the collaboration agreement signed between the two organisations in November 2021 with the aim of relaunching the province of Girona’s cultural attractions, and particularly the artistic and heritage legacy of Salvador Dalí, after the COVID-19 pandemic.
