In this month’s newsletter we present the figures for tourist activity in the province of Girona during 2020, the worst tourist season in history due to the health and economic crisis caused by COVID-19. The Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board is continuing its efforts to reactivate tourist activity in the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees destinations and is launching collaboration and training actions with the region’s entities and businesses, producing new promotional and informative support materials and preparing and planning actions addressed to intermediaries and the media.
Tourism figures for 2020
In 2020 the province of Girona received 3,346,055 tourists, who generated 10,037,448 overnight stays.
