The “beer-matched recipes” guide

As part of the Costa Brava San Miguel Gastronomic Tour initiative, a guide on Costa Brava dishes matched with San Miguel beer has been published.

The matching menu of beer and dishes from the Costa Brava is a guide that compiles six recipes produced by the cuisine collectives associated with the Costa Brava brand: Cuina de l’Empordanet (Cuisine of the Empordà), La Cuina del Vent (Cuisine of the Wind), Girona Bons Fogons (Good Stoves), El Pla de l’Estany Gastronomic Group and Joves Cuiners (Young Chefs), coordinated by chef Oriol Blanes of the Empordà School of Gastronomy. Each collective has created a dish of local products matched with one of the five varieties of beer of the San Miguel brand, which is sponsoring the activity.

The guide was presented on 12th June as part of the third stage of the Costa Brava San Miguel Gastronomic Tour, in Sant Feliu de Guíxols. The event was attended by Dolors Batallé, Director of the Patronat de Turisme Costa Brava Girona, Francesc Marín, Head of Sponsorship and Events of San Miguel, Oriol Blanes, Chef of the Empordà School of Gastronomy, and Carles Motas, Mayor of Sant Feliu de Guíxols.
