Promotion of sports tourism
150 professionals from the international event planning and sports tourism sector took part in the Sports & Events Workshop in Lloret de Mar-Costa Brava.

From 24 to 26 October the second edition of the Sports & Events Workshop was held, bringing specialised international sports agents and operators, meeting organisers, and sporting and corporate event planners together with Spanish destinations and companies linked to the sector. The event was attended by more than 150 suppliers and buyers from the sports tourism industry, who took part in meetings and workshops, as well as more fun sports activities designed to showcase the Costa Brava destination’s specific services and facilities.
This action was organised by Grupo eventoplus with the support of the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board and Lloret Turisme. The Catalan Tourist Board, the University of Girona and L’Azure hotel also collaborated in the event.
