Prescriber actions

We organised press trips, fam trips and one blog trip for some 50 prescribers from Spain and abroad.


MARCH 2024

In March, 10 Catalan travel agencies –incoming agencies specialised in offering high-end services in distant markets, incoming agencies specialised in cruises and one specialised in megayachts– visited the province to see new premium, wellness and wine and food tourism locations, services and experiences. In addition, six representatives from Spanish agencies specialised in programming school trips visited locations showcasing the cultural and nature activities offered by the province. The Tourist Board also partnered with Perelada in a fam trip attended by 25 representatives from American Express Meetings & Events and the visit made by 6 agencies, who came to the province after attending the FINE Marketplace in Valladolid. Lastly, after taking part in the seminar "How a culture of wellbeing is positive for tourism and economy", Laszlo Puczko and Melanie Smith visited locations in the province specialised in wellness products and services.

In addition, we partnered with Viu Empordà to host the visit by the Danish content creator Nana Hagel.

Finally, the destination was visited by a journalist from the travel magazine Descobrir, who enjoyed family experiences in the province and subsequently featured them in the magazine's family-focused section "Territori menut".
