Four international tour operators promote the Costa Brava among their European clients this summer.
Two years after the pandemic, and in line with the reactivation of the tourist industry, the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board ran a specific campaign for summer with the aim of influencing the international tour operator sector that brings the greatest volume of visitors to Girona’s destinations from four crucial markets: FTI Voyages from France, TUI Belgium, DER Touristik from Germany and Jet2holidays from the UK.
The campaign focused on positioning the Costa Brava brand and boosting sales of tourist products and services in the province of Girona using the network of retail agencies run by each operator in their country of origin, banners on web portals, advertising in professional newsletters and journals, in addition to actions addressed to potential clients through social media channels and official web portals.
The Board invested €43,300 in the co-marketing campaign. This action sought to complement and increase reservations at the establishments and businesses in the province of Girona that work with international tour operators and travel agencies.
