Actions for opinion leaders

Forty-five travel and tourism opinion leaders and journalists visit the destination in September.


SEPTEMBER 2022

In September the Board organised five press trips, five familiarisation trips and two blog trips, with a total of forty-five participants. The aim was to present the destination’s tourism services and facilities to national and international source markets.

The destination hosted visits from journalists working at The Times, Camping Life, Time Out Barcelona, El Mundo Deportivo, National Golf Magazine, Revista Traveling, and Top Viajes, among others, who participated in specific programmes to get to know the destination from different angles. Of particular note were a group of Catalan journalists who attended the Ennaturat press trip to discover outdoor active tourism activities.

Regarding fam trips, the destination received a visit from thirty travel agents, planners and representatives from event management agencies, mainly from Spain and the Nordic countries, who were interested in the range of luxury, congress and health and wellness services and facilities in the destination. 

Finally, the province hosted visits by content creators and influencers specialising in wine and gastronomy such as viicompanyia.cat and the former contestants on the TV talent show MasterChef, sofiamchef6 and victormchef6.
