Travel broker professionals from Ireland, the UK and Central Europe discovered the potential of the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees.

The Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board participated in the roadshow organised by Travel Industry to present tourism on the Costa Brava to 25 travel agencies in the Irish cities of Dublin, Waterford and Cork in early October. The event was followed in mid-October by participation in a sports tourism workshop organised by the Catalan Tourist Agency, which gave the Tourist Board the opportunity to meet with nine tour operators from various markets interested in the Costa Brava’s sports camps and sports tourism destinations. Finally, the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees’ Unique Premium Club closed out a packed calendar of visits to agencies specialising in luxury travel and concierge companies in London to publicise the Girona region’s high-end and exclusive products, activities and services.
