Girona, L’Escala, Platja d’Aro, Blanes and Lloret de Mar launch a campaign on TripAdvisor

Five tourism destinations have joined forces with the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board to promote the general tourism offering of the Costa Brava and the Pirineu de Girona through a year-long promotional campaign on the TripAdvisor website aimed at the Spanish and French markets (from May 2013 to May 2014).

The campaign consists of customising the web pages of the six entities with their own specific content. As such, each entity will be responsible for managing the content and publicising the tourism products, information leaflets, suggestions and calendars of activities that it wishes to make known to users. There will be a strong brand presence, videos and photographs, along with links to social networks, etc. The goal of the campaign is to improve the content of the platform and offer users more information, while raising the profile of each destination on the website.

TripAdvisor is the world’s most visited travel website and the second most visited in Europe. It helps travellers to plan their trips on the basis of reliable advice provided directly by fellow travellers.
