A training day entitled "The present and future of tourism: product creation and marketing", organised by the Patronat de Turisme, was held on 23rd October
On 23rd October, the Patronat de Turisme is holding its ninth training day, entitled "The present and future of tourism: product creation and marketing", aimed at professionals from the tourism sector, public administration bodies and Catalan companies.
The aim of the day is for experts to offer perspectives and practical cases for participants to continue learning how to adapt and improve their business and management model in order to optimise results and strike the right online/offline balance. At the same time, it will be an excellent occasion for networking and putting faces to names of people who we deal with on a daily basis in the virtual environment.
This training day is composed of various sessions dealing with the following topics: new forms of communication, led by Tirso Maldonado, evangelist manager of Witcamp.com, the social learning platform; product creation, presented by David Mora, manager of the tourism division of CEGOS; and Futurism: The future of tourism, led by J. A. Donaire, Director of INSETUR, among others. The dynamic sessions and round table discussions, led by experts including Dr. Donaire, will address topics such as "online vs. offline", with the additional participation of Tirso Maldonado, David Mora and Jordi Martí.
The day is aimed at stimulating the sector to ensure that it remains committed to innovation and continuous training with the goal of maintaining the leadership status of our destination.
