Participation in three national tourism fairs and four international fairs.

MARCH 2024

On 2 and 3 March, the Sports Tourism Club attended the Copenhagen Bike Show on the Catalonia stand to promote the province's cycling options to the Nordic market. A specific presentation of the destination was made during the Show.

From 7 to 9 March, the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board attended the ITB fair in Berlin to promote the destination's new tourism products for 2024 from the Catalonia stand. Meetings were also held at the fair with about 10 representatives from tour operators and travel portals.

Following that, on 13 and 14 March, the DO Empordà Wine Route Club took part in the 5th FINE WineTourism Marketplace, in Valladolid, within Catalonia's promotional space. Partnering with the company Costa Brava Centre, it held 30 meetings with specialised agencies. At the same time, from 15 to 17 March, the Tourist Board used Catalonia's stand at the B-Travel tourism fair to promote the tourism products offered by the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees to the Catalan public, alongside the local councils of Blanes, Empuriabrava (Castelló d’Empúries) and L’Estartit (Torroella de Montgrí), within the Costa Brava space, and the regional councils of Cerdanya, Ripollès, Garrotxa and Alt Empordà, within the Girona Pyrenees space.

Subsequently, on 20 and 21 March, we attended the Salon Autonomic, in Toulouse, a fair specialised in seniors and disabled people, with our own stand to promote the specific tourism products available for this population group in the province of Girona.

Lastly, from 22 to 24 March, we promoted the province's tourism products at the Mercat del Ram in Vic, a market and fair devoted to country life, with the participation of seven local councils and organisations and one campsite; in addition, from 29 March to 1 April, we partnered with the Costa Brava's marinas and sailing clubs to attend the Salon Les Nautiques de Port Camargue and promote the nautical tourism activities offered in the province to the French market, which is also one of the destination's largest markets.
