Support for Girona-based organisations

Four tourism associations in the Girona area hold events for their associates aimed at strengthening ties and celebrating milestones.

In October, representatives of the Patronat de Turisme Costa Brava Girona attended and participated in social and commemorative events held by various tourism business associations of the area that represent sub-sectors of the local tourism industry. Assemblies were held and a review was carried out of the summer season, while the events also served to share and exchange opinions and to recognise professional merits and milestones.

The Federation of Hotels and Restaurants of the Counties of Girona organised the celebration of World Tourism Day at the Castle of Biart in Masarac on 1^st October, bringing together almost 100 Catalan politicians and tourism representatives. Furthermore, the Tourist Apartment Association of the Costa Brava - Pirineu de Girona (ATA) invited some 70 associates to its tenth annual dinner on 4^th October, while the Costa Brava Centre Hotel and Restaurant Association held its Timó awards ceremony on 16^th October in Begur and the Rural Tourism Association of Girona held an event to celebrate its 20^th anniversary with its associates on 17^th October in Girona.

The Patronat de Turisme supports all the organisations, association and guilds of tourism professionals from the Girona area that safeguard the interests of our industry in the area as a whole.
