Attendance and collaboration in presentations, gastronomic, cultural and sporting events to boost the destination.

In October the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board provided support and participated in numerous business initiatives such as the 4th BTM Forum in Lloret de Mar, the presentation of the guide The Costa Brava’s Coves and Marinas during the Barcelona Boat Show and, in the cultural area, the Comedy Cinema Festival in Begur.
As regards gastronomy, the Board helped to organise the professional «Anchovy 5.0» conference held in L’Escala and took part in the Gastronomic Forum Barcelona, from La Cuina in the Catalonia Space.
Support for sporting events of tourist interest in the destination was remarkable. In particular, the two golf tournaments Empordà Challenge and Costa Brava Challenge, played at Empordà Golf Club, and the final of the Peralada Lady Golf circuit, as well as the Coupe des Présidentes in Lyon. The Board also collaborated in the open-water swimming race Radikal Ocean 52, the trail running race Costa Brava Stage Run and the Globasket tournament.
