An online restaurant booking service called Restalo is launched on the Costa Brava and Pirineu de Girona portal.
The third online booking service to be incorporated by the portal of the tourism offer of the Costa Brava and Pirineu de Girona is now up and running. The Restalo restaurant booking engine, which joins the hotel and tourism apartment booking engines incorporated by the Patronat in February and April, respectively, is a new service for users.
Restalo is initially offering 6,300 restaurants in Spain and European cities. It also provides businesspeople from the Girona area with an additional channel for marketing their tourism products and services. Eighty-eight restaurants from the province are currently represented. This figure will increase when the integration process gets under way and a campaign to attract new restaurants begins. Restalo's booking management system enables restaurants to handle reservations, table availability, opening hours, special offers and customers, etc. flexibly and immediately on a 24/7 basis.
The Patronat de Turisme Costa Brava and Restalo.com will present the new restaurant booking service, including a demonstration of how it operates within the www.costabrava.org portal, on 1st December at the El Gironès County Council building, Riera del Mus 1A, in Girona, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The presentation, which will include a training session, aims to show restaurant and hotel businesses how to market their offer through Restalo.com, the booking engine recently incorporated by the Patronat de Turisme.
The Patronat de Turisme also plans to incorporate a booking service for other types of accommodation within the portal, as well as a booking engine for activities, thus broadening its services targeted at individual tourists. This will facilitate the marketing of the full range of tourism products and services through the portal.
