Promotional activities for opinion leaders

Further visits by opinion leaders and travel and tourism journalists to the destination area.


In the month of May, the Tourist Board organised and coordinated two press trips and two blog trips that brought sixteen journalists, opinion leaders and content creators to the province of Girona.

A project was also launched with the production company Pixion, focused on promoting the active and family tourism activities on offer in the region of Girona through the programme Adventure Atlas, broadcast in Spain (Movistar Plus) and in Europe (Discovery Channel).    

Likewise, a visit was organised to the province of Girona for seven members of the content creators community Travel Concept Solution, to produce audiovisual contents related to the destination and its golf clubs and courses, aimed at visitors from the metropolitan area of Barcelona, giving them the opportunity to learn about complementary activities in nearby destinations.

Finally, the freelance journalist Lourdes López (@louloulopezjournalist with 40,000 Instagram followers), who specialises in gastronomy, enjoyed a gastronomic trip to the Costa Brava.
