Promotion on the Asian-Pacific market

The Costa Brava tourist offer is promoted at the ITB Asia travel trade show in Singapore.

From 25 to 27 October, the Costa Brava tourist offer was promoted for the first time at the most important professional trade fair in Southeast Asia, the ITB in Singapore, with the aim of disseminating the attractions and tourist products of the Girona province to complement the Barcelona offer. During the fair, some thirty interviews were given to tour operators and journalists at the Catalonia stand. In parallel with the fair, on 25 October at lunchtime and in the evening two destination presentations were offered; one aimed at the media and the other at tourist operators. The press meeting was attended by some fifteen media, including Esquire Singapore, Singapore Tatler, Travel Inspiration 360 and Singapore Airlines Inflight Magazine; in the meeting with travel agencies, contacts were made with representatives of wholesale travel agencies, such as CS Travel, Quotient Travel Planner, Pacific Arena, Travel Wander and Viewers Choice. The attendance at the ITB trade fair in Singapore and the promotional activities organised for influencers responded to the strategy to create awareness about the Costa Brava destination and its top-range tourist products in far-off markets.
