Promotion of business tourism

The Costa Brava Girona Convention Bureau visited the cities of Gothenburg and Benidorm to promote the business and events tourism of the Girona area.

From 7 to 9 April, specialists from the Costa Brava Girona Convention Bureau, together with the Girona City Convention Bureau, promoted the province of Girona’s business and convention tourism at the Associations World Congress in Gothenburg, one of the leading congress professionals’ associations and organisations conventions in Sweden. During the event, thirty meetings were held where good relations with the attendees were set up. Finally, from 24 to 27 April, the Costa Brava Girona Convention Bureau, together with a number of tourism companies from the Girona area —Lloret Turisme, Gran Hotel Monterrey, Hotel Peralada Wine Spa & Golf and Hotel Camiral—, attended the W M&I Forum Europe 2019 in Benidorm. During the convention, we attended several workshops and networking events. We would highlight over 45 interviews with events organisors from all over Europe and the interest shown by certain agencies who made requests for events in the province of Girona.
