Twenty Swiss journalists and travel agents discover and learn more about the Costa Brava’s wine, gastronomy and premium services and facilities.
On 21 October in the Swiss city of Zürich a promotional event was held to raise awareness of and promote the Costa Brava’s range of wine, gastronomy and premium services and facilities among some twenty Swiss journalists and general and specialised travel agents offering luxury travel. At the same time, this action served as a meeting and networking opportunity for the Swiss professionals and four representatives from tourist companies and entities in Girona (Hotel Camiral at PGA Golf & Wellness, Hostal de La Gavina GL, Alàbriga Hotel & Home Suites GL, the agency Aborígens and Visit Palafrugell).
During the event there was a presentation on the destination, a tasting of olive oils organised by Oli Fontclara and a wine-tasting organised by the Swiss-owned Clos d’Agon winery. This action, organised by the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board, concluded with a gourmet meal created by Iolanda Bustos, biodynamic chef and member of the Cuina de l’Empordanet association, and by Zineb Hattab, chef at Zürich’s vegan restaurant Kle.
