Promoting health and wellness tourism

Wellness and healthy eating tourism is advocated as a new alternative for the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees.

The promotional event Infusiona’t, supported by the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board, was held on Tuesday, 18 June, in Barcelona, at the Flowers by Bornay space. This event was organised to promote to the Catalan public the range of health and wellness products, activities and services available at the Costa Brava and the Girona Pyrenees. The same event provided the backdrop for presenting the new organic, locally grown herb teas Costa Brava Essence and Pyrenees Essence, created by the company Tegust Nature. The event’s focal point was a round table moderated by Núria Coll, director of the online magazine Ets el que menges (You are what you eat). The round table’s other participants were the nutritionist Carla Zaplana, the communicator specialised in nature and mindful eating Marc Casabosch, and Jaume Marín, the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board’s marketing manager, who engaged in a debate on territory, wellness and nutrition, sharing numerous experiences related with this area and promoting the new Tegust Nature herb teas. Infusiona’t was attended by about 60 people, including influencers, professionals working in the field and journalists specialised in healthy eating and wellness. It was also attended by representatives from organisations and companies who are members of the Health and Wellness Marketing Club, such as Mindfulkit and Lloret Turisme.
