Product marketing clubs

The marketing clubs for the golf, nautical and health and beauty tourism products of the Costa Brava and the Pirineu de Girona have held assemblies to review 2010's action plans and to approve the initiatives scheduled for 2011.

The clubs have recently held their respective assemblies, with the active participation of their members.

The Costa Brava Pirineu de Girona Golf Marketing Club, with a current membership of 36 companies, including golf and pitch & putt courses, hotels, transport companies and travel agents, began its assembly by reviewing and assessing the 2010 season, after which it approved the initiatives scheduled for 2011 in the main European outbound tourist markets. The highlights of the meeting were the presentation of the association’s new website, www.golf.costabrava.org, which includes all the information on the association and its members, and this year’s participation in the Golf Live Event in Great Britain.

The Costa Brava Nautical Tourism Marketing Club also held its assembly. The association, with 16 members from the Costa Brava’s aquatic and nautical activities sector, met to review the initiatives carried out in 2010 and to plan new actions for the 2011 season, which begins in spring. The association’s members decided the increase the product’s media presence and impact, as well as to incorporate functional improvements in its website, www.nauticcostabrava.com.

Last of all, the Health and Beauty Marketing Club held its assembly. The association, with 16 members from the area, presented its annual report for 2010 and approved its 2011 action plan. The main novelties in this year’s schedule of actions are the creation of a new website for the association, www.spa.costabrava.org, presented to its members during the assembly, the holding of a Spa Manager day and the organisation of a trip for bloggers on beauty topics. An online advertising campaign will also be designed and executed, aimed at boosting the website and focusing on the association’s priority markets: Catalonia, Spain and France.
