More professional visits from travel and tourism prescribers and journalists to the destination.

In February, the Tourist Board organised and coordinated a press trip, a fam trip and a blog trip which took half a score of international journalists and prescribers to the province of Girona.
Thus, the destination hosted the visit by the European manager of the South African agency Explore Sideways, specialised in bespoke luxury experiences related to wine, art, wellbeing and gastronomy. In the course of their stay, they visited several locations focused on culture and gastronomy, including a number of wine cellars in Alt Empordà.
As regards the press trips, journalists from several Spanish media interested in learning about the Girona Pyrenees' snow and skiing products visited the mountain regions of the Cerdanya and Ripollès regions.
Finally, the destination hosted the visit by two Dutch content creators, who toured a number of localities to experience activities related to active tourism and nature, culture and gastronomy in the Alt Empordà, Baix Empordà, Garrotxa and Ripollès areas.
